Volunteering in Tanzania was a vital turning point in my sober journey. Immersing myself in a completely different culture, away from old habits and distractions, gave me the space to reconnect with who I truly was beneath the noise.

Working in a small school teaching English and maths to young children was so fulfilling. Giving back, and living simply reminded me of what really matters — purpose, connection, and service.

That experience sparked something deep within me and inspired me to help others on their own path to healing. It was in Tanzania that I realised there was hope to feel inner peace without alcohol.

Because of the role my volunteering in Tanzania played in becoming my best self and creating Soulber, I will be putting 10% of all Soulber Sense profits aside to return to the school I worked in, with books, pens, clothes and clean water for the children and families.
